I can’t believe my baby girl just turned one. Mommy is obsessed with this sweet, beautiful face! I may or may not have been planning her first birthday party since I found out I was carrying a girl. That’s what private Pinterest boards are for, right?
It’s so exciting that everything Mermaid is making a comeback. Her Mermaid birthday party turned out so cute, thanks to everyone that helped make it happen!
Our favorite photographer, Jamie Scarlett Photography, captured all of these (and more!) AMAZING pics.
Shoutout to Shop All The Little Things for Liv’s custom first birthday outfit, tutu, high chair tutu, food cards and selfie signs!
To switch it up a bit, we had a pastel mermaid party. Everything was in gold, white and pastels. My favorite grocery store ever, Publix, made this custom cake. It tasted better than it looks! And the tail was made out of rice krispie treats, cool right?
I found this adorable light up sign that made the perfect decoration for our mermaid party.
We had an underwater photobooth with a pastel iridescent backdrop and fun props. All of the goodies are from amazon, linked at the end of the post.
These mermaid jeans are so dope! I found a pair of inexpensive destroyed denim jeans (here), mermaid fabric from Joann’s (about 1/8 of a yard) and my favorite seamstress went to work.
Up next – Halloween costume planning! Leave me a comment if you’re a fellow crazy planning Mommy, too!
